Discover Megalithic Monuments of Évora
Discover megalithic Monuments of Évora and of Alentejo. Begin near here (300m walking in the field); in the surroundings you can see one of the biggest european tapirs, the oldest cromlech and an imposing menhir.
Other Suggestions
- Walk or cycle along the roman aqueduct “Água de Prata” (national monument since 1910), going through cork oak forests, side by side with farms e a 8,3 Km trail. If you prefer a shorter trail, follow the aqueduct starting at Portas da Lagoa and follow it inside the historic centre of Évora
- 2 km far from Arraiolos (20km from Evora) you can visit and discover “Aldeia da Terra” a charming built in clay village
- Near Montemor-o-Novo and Lavre and specially if you have kids don´t miss Monte Selvagem (Animals Reserve) and Fluviarium of Mora
